Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who can help us improve our WordPress products by extensively reviewing them, testing them, suggesting improvements, and re-evaluating them after the changes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in any programming language (Python, JavaScript, or Java). 
  • At least 1+ year of experience in automation testing. 
  • Experience in any automation tool and framework (Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, or Playwright). 
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git. 
  • Experience in Scrum/Kanban teams and proficient use of JIRA or other Project Management Tools for Project Planning and defect management. 
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and testing integration within these pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Action) is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of WordPress is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in requirements reviews with business analysts and development teams to ensure clear, concise, and testable requirements. 
  • Implement testing procedures. 
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures for the product. 
  • Plan, design, and execute test cases to confirm that functional test and performance requirements are met. 
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts for various test scenarios. 
  • Ensure that test scripts are modular, reusable, and maintainable. 
  • Perform regression, functional, performance, load, stress, and integration tests to ensure product performance and integrity. 
  • Use defect-tracking tools to analyze, report, and track defects and bugs.
